About Me
Hello and welcome to my site! I’m Alexander Makris, and I’ve dedicated my career and life to the principles of hard work and integrity. Over the past 7 years, I have honed my skills as a sewer and drain pipe repairer, mastering the intricacies of this vital trade. During this, I spent 5 enriching years on a farm, raising swine and chickens. Although these experiences may seem disparate, they both instilled in me invaluable lessons about persistence, critical problem-solving, and the importance of commitment, reinforcing my belief in showing up every day to complete the tasks at hand.
My Work in sewer and drain pipe repair
I chose to enter the pipe relining trade because I was eager to engage in hands-on work that allows me to be outdoors while making a tangible impact on people’s lives. Although sewer and drain systems may not be the most glamorous aspect of infrastructure, they play a crucial role in our daily functioning. When these systems fail, it doesn’t just cause inconvenience; it disrupts entire households and businesses. That’s when my skills come into play, helping to restore their functionality and ensuring smooth operation, which ultimately contributes to the overall health and well-being of the community.

Throughout my extensive experience, I have developed a profound ability to evaluate intricate underground systems, meticulously identifying issues while minimizing disruption. My expertise in relining is particularly noteworthy, as it demands both technical proficiency and precision, especially when navigating the challenges posed by unpredictable conditions and deteriorating infrastructure. This approach not only enhances efficiency but also ensures the implementation of durable, sustainable solutions that can withstand the test of time. My commitment to innovation means that I strive to address problems effectively, often avoiding the extensive excavation that traditional methods require, thereby conserving resources and reducing environmental impact.
Throughout my extensive experience in sewer and drain repair, I have tackled a diverse range of projects, spanning both residential and commercial properties. From dealing with invasive tree roots and collapsed pipes to addressing stubborn grease buildup and misaligned joints, I have confronted numerous challenges in my career. Each job presents its unique difficulties, which is a crucial aspect I enjoy most about this trade. This work requires quick thinking, adaptability, and meticulous attention to detail. Ultimately, I take immense pride in ensuring that I leave behind systems that are not only clean but also efficient and durable, capable of serving my clients well for many years.
My work on the farm
During my time in sewer and drain repair, I also had the unique opportunity to work on a farm dedicated to raising swine and chickens. This experience imparted valuable life lessons in discipline and patience, emphasizing the importance of nurturing living beings. Caring for animals requires a commitment to diligence; there are no shortcuts. It cultivated my ability to observe the subtle nuances of animal behavior–how they move, eat, and react to changes in their environment. This heightened awareness and sense of responsibility seamlessly translates into my current work, enhancing my skills and dedication to quality care.

Farming has instilled in me a profound appreciation for the intricate cycles that govern our existence–those of nature, labor, and life itself. The process of planting seeds, nurturing them through care, and eventually reaping the rewards in harvest embodies a continuous loop of growth and renewal. This responsibility extends to feeding animals, maintaining cleanliness, and safeguarding the crops, all of which require unwavering commitment. Each task, although repetitive, brings immense fulfillment, reinforcing the importance of diligence. This mindset, centered around consistent, hands-on effort, seamlessly translates to every endeavor I undertake, be it on the farm or in different professional environments.
My Hauling experience
In the past, I have taken two years of my life as a tow truck driver, honing my ability to safely and efficiently transport a variety of vehicles, equipment, and heavy materials. This role has required me to develop precision in my operations, make quick, informed decisions under pressure, and maintain a thorough understanding of safety protocols to protect both myself and others on the road. These competencies are not only critical during towing tasks but have also become essential skills that I consistently apply in various aspects of my work and professional development today.
Towing encompasses much more than the simple act of transporting a disabled vehicle from one location to another. It requires a thorough understanding of concepts such as weight distribution to ensure safe towing practices while preventing accidents. Properly securing loads is critical to avoid damage during transportation. Additionally, towing professionals often face time-sensitive recoveries, necessitating quick thinking and efficient execution. Each job, whether it involves aiding a stranded driver or relocating substantial machinery, demands unwavering focus, patience, and an absolute commitment to adhering to industry standards and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of all involved.

Throughout my journey, I gained extensive knowledge in the fundamental principles of hauling, which includes mastering an array of trailers and towing configurations. My experience has equipped me to manage delicate, oversized, and off-balance loads with precision. This skill set is crucial for efficiently transporting materials and equipment in various sectors, particularly for farms that require timely deliveries, construction sites that depend on heavy equipment, and local operations that rely on dependable logistics. In essence, my expertise ensures that transportation challenges are met with effective solutions, promoting optimal productivity for all stakeholders involved.
